Purpose
The Board of Trustees Awards for Excellence are conferred annually to college and university teaching faculty and university administrative service faculty to acknowledge and provide system-wide recognition for consistently superior professional achievement and to encourage the ongoing pursuit of excellence.
Board of Trustees Award for Excellence in Teaching
The award is intended to recognize the core importance of the teaching mission at our colleges and universities and the foundation of that mission is skillful methods of teaching, attention to student learning, and faculty subject matter expertise. The primary criterion is skill in teaching that is inclusive, innovative, learning-centered, and collaborative. The award reflects the commitment to providing high-quality instruction that prepares college and university students of 蜜桃TV State for their professional, scholarly, and civic lives.
