More about John Deyo

I was born and raised in Austin, went to Austin High School and Riverland Community College (back then it was Austin Junior College). I got my BS in Graphic Design from St. Cloud State, with a minor in Theatre. I met my wife, Lisa while in a play and in the Briar's at Riverland. We have been married for nearly 40 years and have 4 great grown children, Gabe, Sam, Max and Abby. We live on an acreage west of Austin and have a big dog and several yard cats. Lisa was a 4th grade teacher at Southgate Elementary for 34 years and just retired. She owns and operates Sweet Reads Books and Candy in downtown Austin. Together, we love to go to plays and musical events and go for long weekends on our Honda Helix. I am also the owner of ViDeyo Arts Video Production Studio, which I have run since 1986.
